Händler Protect repair plans
Selected vehicles from Sun Valley Auto Sales Ltd can be supplied with a Händler Protect repair plan, giving you additional support with eligible repair costs after purchase, subject to the plan schedule, terms, conditions and exclusions.
Extra reassurance after you drive away
A repair plan can assist with the cost of repairing specifically covered mechanical, electrical or electronic components when an eligible breakdown occurs during the period of cover. It is important to read your customer schedule and the complete plan wording because no repair plan covers every component or every cause of failure.
How a repair request works
- Stop using the vehicle if continuing could cause further damage.
- Contact Händler Protect and explain the fault before repair work starts.
- Arrange diagnosis and provide the requested service history, MOT and repair estimate.
- Wait for authorisation before approving repairs.
- Keep all paperwork and follow the reimbursement instructions supplied with your plan.
Important: The information on this page is a general overview only. Cover, claim limits, contributions, servicing requirements, exclusions and cancellation rights are governed by your individual customer schedule and the current Händler Protect terms.
Händler Protect warranty FAQs
Is this an insurance policy?
Händler Protect describes its repair plan as a discretionary repair plan rather than an insurance product. Your plan document explains how this applies to your cover.
Does every car include the same cover?
No. Availability and cover can vary by vehicle, age, mileage and the plan selected. Ask us for the customer schedule and full terms for the particular car.
Can I authorise a garage to repair the car immediately?
You should contact Händler Protect before repair work begins. Starting repairs without authorisation may affect whether costs can be considered.
Do I need to service the vehicle?
Yes. The vehicle must be maintained in line with the servicing requirements stated in the plan. Keep invoices and evidence of the correct oil and scheduled work.
Are wear-and-tear items automatically covered?
No. Normal wear, end-of-life parts and non-listed components may be excluded. The customer schedule and plan wording provide the definitive details.
How do I find out exactly what is covered?
Read the customer schedule and current terms provided with your vehicle, and ask our team to explain anything that is unclear before purchase.
